I decided to do a search for a high school friend of mine I'd lost contact with. He was amazingly easy to find. It's so cool to be in touch with him again.

I have three other friends I'm looking for, but they don't seem to be as easy to find. Ah well. Maybe someday.

I'm such a geek

We just got a new kitten. I've named her Vala (Mal Doran). Yup, after the SG 1 character. We also have another cat named after a Farscape character and our dog is named after a Firefly character. I'm hopeless LOL

End of the Line

Well. I feel like a complete moron.

I got on the wrong bus yesterday. After having rode the bus 4 days out of the week for last almost 2yrs. This is the second time I've done it, but this one was a doozy. The first time I took the wrong bus, but it came back to the station within the hour and I was able to get on the right bus.

Not this time.

I took the way wrong bus and I had no idea where I was. It was dark out and I hadn't seen any street signs in some time. I knew I was pretty far out, because I was smelling cow patties.

I called Daniel to let him know, and he came and got me. Otherwise, it was going to be another half hour to catch the bus back to the Depot and an hour to get there from where I was at. Plus the wait for my next bus and the ride home from there.

In my defence, the bus I was supposed to get on, was pulled up to the curb when I arrived at the Depot. But I do recall seeing a different number on the placard in the window when I got on. But my brain was still convinced it was the right bus. All I can think is that bus took off when I turned around and the other bus took it's place. Or I'm just an idiot! LOL! Which is certianly a possibility. ;o)

And now I'm back...from outerspace...

I've dropped my Myspace blog, so I'm back over here.

I made the mistake of accidentally inviting someone who I was just looking for their Myspace. I typed in their name and the next thing I know it says "invite sent!". Noooooooooooo! Oops. I haven't added them yet and I'm not really sure what I'm going to do.

It's really been a long time since I've been here. I went back and read all my old posts. Co-irker is gone. She was replaced by two more co-irkers (seperate times) who are now also both gone. One still works in the building but not in the Admin office, so that helps a lot. The other quit with no notice at all. Someone who left came back, and I like her. I think she slacks a bit too much, but at least I get along with her. There's only one person in our office that irritates me very much. Some days are better than others though, so that's always good.

Had a few deaths. My grandma passed last December and our dog Dixie passed in May of this year.

Kids are doing pretty good. Cameron's mellowed some and Susan's just her usual Drama Queen self.

Have added all the expansions and "stuff" packs up to Happy Holiday Stuff, including Pets. I'm trying desperately to get a wolf to bite my sim so I can have a werewolf and it' not working! *grr* "Seasons" is next, in late February (so far). Could be interesting. May make the game very challenging!

Jabber, jabber, jabber

I keep forgetting to post here. A friend of mine got me into MySpace and I've been blogging there, lately.

I don't really like MySpace much. It's too hard to edit and tinker with. And too many people do way too much with their page and make it almost impossible to read or do anything with. Gaudy backgrounds, lots of "bells and whistles". It's getting to be the "dollz" thing all over again. Except that I never got into "dollz". Myspace, blinkies and countdown things are all the rage now. I've got some blinkies, only because the mods put them there (I did not ask for them). And of course a myspace. Nothing left to count down but I probably wouldn't use one anyway. I'll probably keep Myspace updated. The pic I promised to post here is over there.

Kids have friends over. Susan's being a little butthead as usual. She acts just fine at their place - or so their parents say. But at home? Nope. Why would she do something like that?

Oh, my friend and I got into the entertainment section of the newspaper. We were at the Thunderbird Balloon and Air Classic a couple weekends back, and got into the paper about that. I'm such a fat cow :/ (Makes you wanna run over and see that pic now huh?)

It's been awhile

Nothing too thrilling has been going on the last couple of weeks. We did go see Serenity a few weekends back :o) I have a family pic, I'll try to post it sometime.

We got some fish. Three Zebra Danios and three Red Eye Tetras. I was hoping we could put more in the tank, but apparently you can only have 1" of fish per gallon of water. So...they can all grow to be 2-2.75" each, so we already have too many fish (when they all get full grown). They seem to be doing alright so far.

Got ahold of the people who were my God Parents as a kid :o) I need to write back soon.
